Veterinary Assistants

Sherry – has been employed since 1990. She first came as a part time employee only working weekends while working another job. She has been a full time employee for many years. If the lights are on at night/holidays, she is usually one of the people in the hospital as well as working her day schedule as well. She handles the kennels as well as all the other duties called for. Her home consists of numerous dogs and cats and she’s very active in animal rescue.  Sherry is married to Tim.

Laken – has been with SAH since 2011.  Laken can be found in just about any spot in our hospital as she’s become a very vesatile employee that feels comfortable in every area of the hospital.  Laken is the mom to three dogs (Georgia, Gunner and Carter), two  horses and is married to Orry.  Laken loves horseback riding and hiking.

Accounting

Leah – began working at SAH in 2012 and became office manager in 2014.  A graduate of Greensboro College, she lettered 4 years and was named All Conference each season on the college’s Lacrosse team. She and her husband Mark have a two daughters, Marlee and Annabelle, and a son, Henry.  Leah also enjoys spending time with her children and spending time in the gym.
